How to Test for Plugin Conflicts
To test for a plugin conflict, follow these steps:
- Deactivate all non-OptinMonster plugins.
- Switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Three.
- Test to see if the problem still exists.
What to Do if the Problem No Longer Exists
If deactivating non-OptinMonster plugins resolves the issue, that means you have a plugin conflict between our plugin and something on your site.
Here’s how to find out what’s causing the problem:
- Activate one deactivated plugin. Test to see if the problem still exists.
- Repeat step 1 for every plugin.
- Switch back to your theme. Test to see if the problem still exists.
Once you discover which plugin is causing the issue, you can report the conflict to the developer of the conflicting plugin or theme, and file a bug report for our development team.
